Participation terms

I understand that Paint Playground activities may include splatter painting, spin art, paint blasters, shared art tools, movement, and contact with art materials. Risks may include slipping on wet surfaces, falls, collisions, minor cuts, eye or skin irritation, allergic reactions, staining or damage to clothing and personal property, and other risks inherent in active art play.

I confirm that the participant is able to participate safely. I will disclose relevant allergies or limitations to staff, follow posted rules and staff instructions, use provided protective equipment, supervise minors in my care, and stop participating if conditions feel unsafe.

To the fullest extent permitted by Minnesota law, I voluntarily assume the inherent risks of participation and release and hold harmless Paint Playground LLC, doing business as Paint Playground Maplewood, and its owners, employees, agents, landlord, and affiliates from claims arising from ordinary negligence connected with participation. This release does not apply where prohibited by law or to gross negligence, reckless conduct, or intentional misconduct.

I authorize reasonable first aid and emergency assistance if needed and understand I am responsible for resulting medical costs. Photographs or video are not authorized by this waiver and require separate consent. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent allowed by law. Minnesota law governs this agreement.

By signing electronically, I confirm that I have read and understand this agreement, have had the opportunity to ask questions, am at least 18 years old, and am the participant or the participant’s parent or legal guardian.
